Not the best place because trains are always moving and will wake you throughout the night. The location is good because you are also close to trails and the city centre. Staff is warm and friendly. Shower are odd that you have to pay outside of where you shower. If you are going to camp here make sure to bring ear plugs.
Great location being close to town, along the Kicking Horse River. Pity the train line across the river is so noisy. I love trains but these trains run all night long, and seem quiet during the day ?The park though is excellent- good small laundry and great showers ( 1 loonie for 6 minutes ). Very nice young lady in charge, very helpful. Lovely town. Highly recommend but bring ear plugs.....
Clean and organized. A nice place to camp if you dont mind trains passing by Every 2 minutes literally! Around 4 in the morning they start to pass and never stop until 6-7 am! Bathrooms clean and nice.
When we first got there I was disappointed. I thought we had no privacy but that actually wasn't to bad. We stayed there for 3 days and I would go back there again. What I didn't like was the trains at night. They are super loud. I guess they bugged me so much because we had a baby with us. That's why the 4 stars. Otherwise it was an amazing stay. We could walk to the pool, spray park and playground. There's also a nice walking trail. If loud noises at night don't bother you then you will love it there :)
Great campground lots of amenities. Little bit of noise from the trains across the river ...you get use to that quickly. Very quiet. We spent 6 days in a tent and had no complaints about our stay
