Boo is a big, but very cute bear. You need to take the gondola up the mountain to see him. The staff was very friendly. Recommended.
Lovely refuge for Boo the grizzly who was orphaned at 5 months and is now 16 years old. He enjoys a 20 acre plot all to himself and is quite easily viewed. The guides tell his story in an interesting manner and overall it was a lovely experience.
If you are looking to get very up close and personal with a grizzly bear and still remain in one piece this is the place for you. The grizzly bear has approximately 20 acres of fenced in living space and has been in captivity since a very early age and accustomed to humans being near buy.
Been twice. Great guides and the Boo is a happy chappy!
Our experience was amazing!! We opted for the adventure pack that starts at 9:00am and Boo was very close to the fence and that will definitely be the closest we will ever get to a feeding Grizzly Bear!Boo literally husked some corn on the cob right in front of us and gently nibbled off all of the kernels. Afterwards, he ate an entire Yam that was the size of a football.I would recommend this to anyone!
