An amazing place to stay. They blew me away. Amazing rooms and a two person tub. A hot free breakfast. They have my business. Try them out.
This was a quick stop for our family just to sleep and get on the road again. The rooms could have been cleaner, but nothing we couldnt live with. The staff was very welcoming at check in and check out, even when we checked out very early in the morning. I would recommend.
Very disappointed. Paid $241 tax in, plus $17 for a cot. Stupid expensive for a dated room. Phone was not plugged in, don't even know if it worked...clock was not plugged in, however I did them a favour and plugged it in and set it, as it is nice to have a clock in your room. Do not be deceived by the room photos, if there are rooms like that, we certainly did not get one. Oh, as well, the water temperature in the shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot, I thought at first it was from the tour bus of about 60 Spanish tourists that showed up on a bus, but no, it is just like that. Sad that I cannot give zero stars, but I will justify the one star because at least the bed was comfortable. Avoid like the plague!
This hotel has a nice swirly slide and pool for kids and a hot tub and sauna to relax if you haven't been on a long drive. The breakfast was typical hotel fair and reasonable. The sheets in our room had a few stains on them. But otherwise was clean.
Please avoid staying at the Travelodge in Golden BC. These people steal from the customers. They will at no time ever refund your booking. I had a booking that was done by mistake 5 weeks ahead and they would not refund. These people are thieves. Avoid at all costs. I am only giving 1 star because I have to. I would really like to give them a negative 5 stars.- 5 stars
